The skiing and snowboarding scene is one of the driving forces of Southern Georgian Bay Tourism. With a variety of public and private ski hills and clubs, we are very fortunate to live in a ski-focused region! We have compiled a list of ski hills and clubs in Southern Georgian Bay to check out for your next visit or to research for joining a club.

Blue Mountain Resort

Blue Mountain is the top ski resort in all of Ontario! Perfect for families and individuals of any level, Blue Mountain resort offers 43 day trails and 30 night trails, as well as 2 terrain parks, with runs groomed daily. Enjoy on site ski and snowboard lessons, rentals, and day and season passes. Other than hitting the slopes, there’s lots to do in the Village at Blue Mountain with great cuisine, shopping, events and activities. Lift tickets can be purchased online and specials deals are offered throughout the year to buy advance tickets and season passes online. Blue Mountain is the perfect resort for a ski weekend getaway!

Osler Bluff Ski Club

Osler Bluff is a beautiful, small, intimate ski club situated distant enough from Georgian Bay, that its moderating effect does not have a negative influence on snow making, and allows for more natural snow. Osler Bluff has recently renovated their clubhouse. There are 5 chairlifts, a 6.5 acre terrain park and over 25 trails with a large variety of pitches and lengths throughout its 130 acres of land.

There are a variety of membership options, including an Introductory Membership ($2,500+); Single Membership ($25,000+); Couples Membership ($35,000); Family Membership ($57,500+); and Senior 60+ Membership ($14,375+) – all initiation fees are in addition to annual dues and HST. 

Alpine Ski Club

Alpine Ski Club takes pride on limiting their memberships so that members and guests feel a sense of privileged quality that comes from a private ski club. The club offers 35 trails, 4 chair lifts, and beautiful trails across 120 acres of land. Alpine has recently built a beautiful contemporary club house with floor to ceiling windows facing the slopes and social programs and events throughout the season.

There are a variety of membership options including an Introductory membership ($5000+); Family Membership ($39,500+) and Single Membership ($25,675+) – initiation fee  $1500 is in additional to annual dues and HST.  

Toronto Ski Club

Toronto Ski Club club is a family with a common bond – the love of winter! They celebrate throughout the snow season hosting several events for our club members of all ages, where everyone can meet and greet. Toronto Ski Club provides its members with a club house at the base of the North area of Blue Mountain Resort ski hill, offering the longest ski season of any private resort in the area, known for its talented members and social and alpine program.

Test drive a one year membership for your family of 4 for $1200 or give the midweek membership a try, allowing members who avoid the busy weekends at Blue Mountain, a quiet place to socialize, eat and hang their hat while hitting the slopes Monday through Friday.

Craigleith Ski Club

Craigleith is private hill offering 32 groomed trails in a variety of terrain and offers a real “home away from home” feeling for its members.  There are three lodges and programs for all ages and abilities. The social programs at this club offer a fun environment for the whole family and the instructors and teachers allow members to challenge their skiing and riding skills. 

Craigleith Ski Club offers a variety of memberships including an introductory annual membership ($1000+); Family Membership ($43,000+);  Single Membership ($30,000+); Senior Membership ($16,500 for a couple, $12,500 for single) and an advancement incentive to the adult children of parents with the Family Membership – all listed fees are in addition to annual dues and HST.
