Join us on February 24, 2024!

The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly walk to raise money for local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. Team up, fundraise, walk, and gather for good… because it’s cold out there.

Coldest Night of the Year is a moment each year when tens of thousands of Canadians step outside the warmth and comfort of home to shine a light of welcome and compassion in their communities. Since 2011, the Coldest Night of the Year has raised over $57,000,000 across Canada in 166 communities – 100% of net proceeds stay local to support CNOY charity partners.

Our communities charity partner is Home Horizon. Home Horizon’s Barbara Weider House is helping guide youth from homelessness to hope. At the BWH they take care of their immediate needs and offer them the chance to change the direction of their lives. In addition to providing a safe, stable and affordable housing, we provide health and life skills education, mentorship, mental health expertise and individualized support plans for local, at-risk youth that help them to set realistic goals and teach them skills that last a lifetime. The BWH is the only facility in our community dedicated to serving homeless youth.

How to Participate
