Citizenship Reaffirmation Ceremony & Gigantic Canada Day Birthday Cake

Everyone is invited to reaffirm their Canadian Citizenship, receive a commemorative certificate and have a free piece of birthday cake, courtesy of Loblaws! This is a great way to celebrate and recognize our great country.
13th Annual Rubber Duck Race

Location: Starts at Hume St. Bridge and ends at the Pretty River Bridge
Get ready for the thrilling 13th Annual Rubber Duck Race! Join us at 2:00 p.m. as individually numbered duckies are released from the Hume Street Bridge, racing towards the Pretty River Parkway Bridge. Secure your chance to win by purchasing tickets at $5.00 each or 3 for $10.00. Exciting cash prizes await the winners, with $1000 for First Place, $500 for Second Place, and $250 for Third Place.
Fireworks

Enjoy a spectacular fireworks display launched from Millenium Poing. For the best view find a spot at Harbourview Park at the Amphitheater or along the Promenade.

It’s just not Canada Day without Fireworks over the Mountain! Gather round in the Village Events Plaza and join the crowd in the “Ooohs” and “Aaaahs” as you watch the spectacular lights bursting in the sky. Fireworks are weather-dependent.
